Hi, I'm Britt.
I'm a firefighter wife, homeschool mom of two boys, and keeper of a little flock of chickens on our cozy homestead in North Carolina. I'm also a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Truthfully, I would rather be in cozy clothes and barefoot than dressed up any day of the week. That right there is basically how this little shop was born.
Why I make these
Nourish with Britt started as my way of helping tired moms feel like themselves again by supporting their metabolism and getting back to real, nourishing food.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I didn't want to be shy about my beliefs or be afraid of offending someone. I wanted to wear what I believed.
What we wear says something about who we are, so I would rather mine say something true. These are not a way to skip the conversation. Honestly, they tend to start it. A shirt catches someone's eye in the grocery line, and the next thing you know you are talking about real food, or faith, or just realizing you are not the only one who lives this way.
So I started making them. Soft, everyday pieces for the mom who reads every label, cooks from scratch, keeps her home on purpose, and questions the standard advice without apologizing for it.
